This aluminum travel trailer spent time in Massachusetts and New York before being purchased by the seller in 2019 as an incomplete project. Work under prior ownership involved re-sealing the exterior, removing the interior, and replacing the axle, brakes, wheels, tires, door, windows, subfloor, interior framing, and 12-volt wiring. The interior is unfinished, and the trailer lacks plumbing and a house electrical system. This aluminum travel trailer project is now offered at no reserve with spare parts and a clean Rhode Island title listing the trailer as a 2017 custom vintage camper.
The aluminum exterior features a contoured roof, pop-out windows, a replacement door, rain deflectors, and marker lights. Dents, scratches, and other blemishes are visible on the body panels, and the seller notes pitting on the light housings.
The single-axle chassis rolls on silver-finished 16″ steel wheels mounted with 225/75 Cooper Discoverer HT3 tires. Electrically actuated drum brakes are fitted. The trailer measures approximately 18′ long and has a manual tongue jack as well as a seven-conductor trailering wire harness.
The interior was removed and the subfloor and portions of the wall framing were replaced prior to the seller’s acquisition. A ceiling-mounted Maxxair fan is centrally positioned, while a hatch door is located on the lower panel at the rear of the cabin.
Corrosion is visible on the frame and suspension components, additional photos of which can be viewed in the gallery below.
An assortment of spare parts will accompany the trailer.
The trailer is titled in Rhode Island under VIN NY74788, which matches the State of New York Department of Motor Vehicles Vehicle Identification Number plate that is affixed to the tongue and pictured in the gallery. The seller is unable to locate any manufacturer marks or additional identification numbers on the trailer.
