25k-Mile 1997 Chevrolet Kodiak C6500 6-Speed and 1997 Featherlite Trailer

This 1997 Chevrolet Kodiak C6500 is a flatbed pickup that was acquired with the accompanying 1997 Featherlite 32′ car hauler by the seller in 2024 from its original owner. Now showing 25k miles, the truck is powered by a 6.6-liter Caterpillar turbodiesel inline-six, and shifting is through a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a dually rear axle, 22.5″ Alcoa wheels, exterior storage compartments, and diamond plate trim on the headache rack and flatbed. Bucket seats are trimmed in gray leather, and the driver’s seat is outfitted with an air-suspension base. The interior also features power windows, air conditioning, and a Maxon CB radio. A rear cargo loading ramp and a side door provide access to the interior of the 32′ Featherlite car hauler, which rides on dual axles and 16″ wheels. The truck cab and flatbed frame are finished in white, and exterior features include cab lights, towing mirrors, side steps, and cargo boxes. A headache rack and rear receiver hitch are integrated into the flatbed, which is lined with wood and has a gooseneck hitch.

The truck is equipped with a dually rear axle and rides on 22.5″ Alcoa wheels wrapped in Toyo and Michelin tires. The car hauler has tandem axles and 16″ wheels mounted with Geostar rubber. An entry on the Carfax report indicates that the rear wheel hubs and brakes were serviced in August 2023.

A rear loading ramp provides access to the interior of the trailer, which is outfitted with a winch and tie-down points. An additional access door is located on the right.

The truck cab features bucket seats upholstered in gray leather, and an air-suspension base is fitted for the driver. A rubber covering lines the floor, and appointments include a cassette stereo, power windows, air conditioning, a center storage console, and a Maxon CB radio.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 25k miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership.

The 6.6-liter Caterpillar turbodiesel inline-six sends power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
