This 2023 Aerovault MkII Standard is a double-axle vehicle trailer that was purchased new by the current owner in 2022. The enclosed trailer is constructed of aluminum sheet metal over a rectangular-tube frame and features a matte-black fiberglass roof, 15″ wheels, electric drum brakes, and self-lubricating torsion axles. Additional equipment includes an integrated loading ramp, a diamond-plate load floor, Versa-Tie anchor tracks, a remote-control winch for loading vehicles, side access doors with integrated storage, and a house battery. This Aerovault is offered on dealer consignment in California with Mac’s rachet straps, a reverse-view camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, a wireless brake controller, a trickle charger, and a clean Montana title.
The Aerovault car trailer was designed by Peter Brock and built in Henderson, Nevada. This standard-length model features an aluminum body with a matte-black fiberglass roof and fenders, LED lighting, a hinged rear ramp, side-access utility doors, two 120-volt power inlet jacks, and a tongue-mounted equipment box. The trailer weighs 2,340 lbs. and measures approximately 22′8″ long, 7′6″ high, and 8′5″ wide.
Steel 15″ wheels wear polished covers and are mounted with 205/75 Carlisle Radial Trail trailer tires, while a matching spare is stowed inside the trailer. Stopping power is from four-wheel self-adjusting electric drum brakes, and the trailer rides on twin Dexter Torsion Flex 3,500-lb. axles. A Fulton rolling tongue jack is mounted on the left frame rail.
The tailgate folds down to form a loading ramp, and interior is outfitted with a diamond-plate load floor, Versa-Tie anchor tracks, recessed floor-mounted load anchors, accessory hooks, and integrated storage bins. Supplementary extended-length ramps for use with low-clearance vehicles are secured behind the wheel wells. The load surface measures approximately 6′8″ wide between the wheel wells, and 16′7″ from the tailgate to the front shelving area.
The curved nose area houses a storage shelf, a through-wall 120-volt power inlet, a small-engine battery, and a remote-control 4.500-lb winch with a synthetic line. The adjacent side access doors are equipped with integrated storage bins.
The underside is fitted with aluminum panels, and additional underbody photos can be viewed in the gallery below.
An assortment of Mac’s rachet straps and tire straps will accompany the trailer along with a wireless reverse-view camera system, a trailer tire pressure monitoring system, two sets of wheel chocks, a ball hitch, a hitch lock, a trickle charger, and a Curt wireless trailer brake controller.
