2000 Airstream Safari 27′ Travel Trailer

This 2000 Airstream Safari is a 27′ dual-axle travel trailer that features a forward lounge with a sofa bed as well as a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a bedroom with two twin beds. Additional amenities include an air conditioner, a furnace, a dual sink, a three-burner range, a refrigerator, a microwave, a flat-screen television, and a Sony cassette stereo connected to a 10-disc CD changer. The trailer was acquired by the seller circa 2014, and work under current ownership has involved replacing the flooring and screen door guards, installing LED lighting, and lubricating the hubs. A retractable awning, a power-operated hitch jack, dual propane tanks, front stone guards, 15” wheels, and electric drum brakes are also equipped. This Airstream is now offered with a Virginia title in the seller’s name.

The trailer measures approximately 27’ long and features an aluminum exterior, a retractable blue awning, a single door, a folding boarding step, hinged windows, and storage lockers. Other equipment includes a power-operated tongue jack, four stabilizer jacks, utility hookups, and two propane tanks housed within a front enclosure. A dent on the right front corner of the trailer is shown up close in the gallery, and dents and dings are visible around the exterior.

The 15” wheels are mounted with 225/75 Goodyear Marathon tires. Braking is handled by electric 12” drums. The trailer has a gross vehicle weight rating of 7,300 lbs and rides on dual torsion axles. The seller notes that the hubs were greased in 2023.

The forward lounge features a brown sofa that converts into a bed, and a folding table stows alongside a storage cabinet. Interior appointments include an air conditioner, a furnace, a flat-screen television, and a Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo connected to a 10-disc CD changer. Woodgrain laminate flooring and LED lights were installed under current ownership, and the screen door guards were replaced.

The kitchenette offers a three-burner range, a microwave, a refrigerator/freezer, a dual sink, and cabinets with sliding interior drawers.

A central bathroom houses a stand-up shower, a toilet, a washbasin, a mirrored cabinet, and chrome towel bars. Marble-look laminate lines the floor.

The bedroom is located at the back of the trailer and features two twin beds. A configurable closet and storage cabinets are provided, and a mirror folds down to serve as a tray table.
