This 1979 Airstream Argosy is a single-axle travel trailer that was acquired by the current owner in 2012. The trailer is finished in beige and brown, and the layout features a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a lounge area with two sofas. Amenities include an awning, curtains, and woodgrain flooring in addition to a Magic Chef range, a Dometic refrigerator, and air conditioning. This Argosy trailer is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner with a clean California title in the owner’s name that lists the vehicle as a 2013 Ago.
The aluminum body is finished in beige with brown lower bodywork and a pink stripe. Details include tinted hinged windows, front stone guards, a retractable awning, a boarding step, and an extended rear bumper with integrated storage. The tongue can accommodate two propane tanks, and the trailer has connections for freshwater, waste disposal, and electrical service.
White 15″ wagon wheels wear blackwall tires, and a spare is mounted on the rear bumper. Stopping power is from electrically actuated drum brakes.
The interior was refreshed under current ownership and features woodgrain vinyl flooring, beige walls, curtains, and woodgrain trim accents. The galley kitchenette is outfitted with a Dometic dual-fuel refrigerator, a Magic Chef three-burner propane range, an exhaust vent, a double-basin sink, storage cabinets, and a spice rack. The bathroom is located at the rear and has a shower with a tethered sprayer, a toilet, and a vessel sink.
The forward lounge area is furnished with a sofa that converts to a bed, gold-tone gooseneck lamps, wraparound windows, and a side shelf. Another sofa is located across from the kitchenette and is accompanied by overhead storage cabinets, a wardrobe closet, and adjustable reading lights. A house air conditioner and a ceiling vent are mounted above.
Rust is visible on the underside, and additional underbody photos can be viewed in the gallery below.
The current California title is listed as a duplicate.
