This 1975 Airstream Trade Wind is a 25′ dual-axle travel trailer with two twin beds, a galley kitchen, a bathroom, and a dinette that converts into a sleeping platform. Amenities include a furnace and air conditioner as well as a range and refrigerator/freezer. The trailer is further equipped with a power-operated hitch jack, dual propane tanks, 15” wheels, and electric drum brakes. Work performed since the seller’s acquisition in 2012 has involved polishing the exterior, installing vinyl flooring, and replacing the awning, window seals, tires, and wheel bearing seals. This Airstream is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The trailer measures approximately 25’ long and features an aluminum exterior, a single door, a folding boarding step, hinged windows, and storage lockers. Other equipment includes a power-operated tongue jack, a front load-leveling hitch, four stabilizer jacks, and utility hookups. The retractable awning was replaced circa 2020, and work performed in 2022 included replacing the window seals as well as polishing the exterior surfaces and dual propane tanks.
The 15” alloy wheels were wrapped in 225/75 Freestar M-108 tires in 2022, and the wheel bearing seals were also replaced at that time. There are scrapes on the wheels and two center caps are missing. The trailer rides on dual torsion axles with electrically actuated drum brakes, and house equipment includes holding tanks for fresh, gray, and black water.
The living quarters feature a furnace and air conditioner as well as laminate cabinetry, curtains, blinds, and woodgrain vinyl flooring that was installed in 2014. The forward dinette converts into a bed, and the cushions are trimmed in tan cloth.
The galley kitchen features a red laminate countertop, a covered sink, a gas range, and a two-way refrigerator/freezer. Twin beds are located on either side of the hallway. The seller notes that the hood vent does not work, and the tambour-style cabinet door below the sink requires assistance to open and close.
The bathroom is located at the back of the trailer and offers a sink, toilet, and shower. A full-length mirror has been mounted to the closet door.
