1968 Lamborghini 1R Tractor

This 1968 Lamborghini 1R tractor was refurbished in Europe under a previous ownership and acquired by the selling dealer on BaT in December 2023. The air-cooled diesel twin sends power to the rear wheels through a three-speed dual-range manual transmission and a portal axle, and the tractor is further equipped with independent rear brakes, dual rear power take-offs, and a pin hitch. The body and drivetrain have been refinished in orange and blue, and details include an orange-finished steel seat, headlights, taillights, fender-mounted tool compartments, and Lamborghini decals. This Lamborghini tractor is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve in Mississippi with a bill of sale.

Lamborghini Trattori was founded in 1948, and approximately 2,018 1R tractors were produced by the company between 1961 and 1969. This example was refinished in orange and blue under a previous ownership, and exterior details include headlights, taillights, and Lamborghini badging as well as 1R decals and a Ferruccio Lamborghini signature decal on the engine cover.

The orange-finished steel wheels are accented by blue hubs and mounted with 5.0–15 Galaxy tires in the front and 11.2–24 Ascenso TDB120 tires in the rear. Stopping power is provided by independent rear drum brakes.

The steel operator’s seat is mounted on a coil spring and finished in orange with Lamborghini script on the back. Tool compartments are integrated into the rear fenders on each side of the seat. Controls include a hand throttle, a shifter, a power take-off selector, and a two-speed range selector in addition to a clutch pedal on the left and dual pedals for the independent brakes on the right.

The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a silver-finished dash panel that houses a keyed ignition switch, an oil pressure gauge, and a Lamborghini Cento-branded reverse-sweep tachometer. The hour meter shows 6k hours of runtime, and less than one hour was added under current ownership. Total runtime is unknown.

The air-cooled diesel twin was factory rated at 30 horsepower and is equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection, a side-mounted muffler, and a black air filter housing with a Fiaam-logo decal. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed dual-range manual transmission and a portal axle.

The tractor is equipped with dual rear power take-offs and a pin hitch.
