1963 Porsche-Diesel Super 339 Tractor

This 1963 Porsche-Diesel Super 339 tractor is said to have spent time on a vineyard in Italy before being relocated to Germany and purchased by the seller in 2017. It was subsequently refurbished and later brought to the US in 2024. The tractor is finished in red with beige wheels and is powered by an air-cooled 2,625cc three-cylinder diesel paired with an eight-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes headlights, taillights, rear and mid-mounted power take-off shafts, two jump seats, and a hydraulically lifted hitch assembly with a draw bar. This Super 339 tractor is now offered in Florida with a bill of sale.

The Super 339 was introduced in 1962, and production continued until corporate parent Mannesmann AG ceased production of Porsche-Diesel tractors in late 1963. The body and chassis of this example were refinished in red under current ownership, and equipment includes a hinged engine cover, headlights, hooded taillights, side and rear jump seats, and Porsche-Diesel badging.

Beige-painted steel wheels are accented by red hubs and wear 6.00-16 MTF-221 Dabang DR front and 12.4-32 MRL MRT 329 Kirti rear agricultural tires. Stopping power is from independent rear drum brakes.

The spring-suspended steel operator’s seat wears a red vinyl cover with yellow piping and Porsche-Diesel embroidery. A padded jump seat is mounted on the left fender, while a rear-facing two-place seat with a beige frame is positioned behind the operator’s station. Controls consist of a hand throttle, a transmission shifter, a power take-off lever, a handbrake, and brake pedals.

The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of an instrument panel that houses a 25 km/h speedometer with inset warning lights, ignition and starter controls, and a headlight switch. The hour meter shows 3 hours of runtime, though operating hours are unknown.

The air-cooled 2,625cc three-cylinder diesel was overhauled under current ownership and is equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed manual transmission. The fluids were changed in preparation for the sale.

The tractor is equipped with rear and mid-mounted PTO shafts in addition to a hydraulically lifted hitch assembly, a pin hitch, and a draw bar.
