1962 Porsche-Diesel Super 329 Tractor

This 1962 Porsche-Diesel Super 329 tractor was imported to the US in 2009 under prior ownership, and it was acquired by the selling dealer after being listed on BaT in February 2024. The tractor was subsequently repainted in red with beige wheels, and it is powered by an air-cooled 2,467cc three-cylinder diesel paired with a dual-range four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes headlights, taillights, a rear power take-off shaft, and a three-point hitch with a draw bar. Service in October 2023 involved changing the oil and hydraulic fluid. The Porsche-Diesel Super 329 was introduced in the early 1960s and remained in production until 1963. The body and chassis of this example are said to have been repainted in red after it was purchased by the selling dealer, and equipment includes a white-finished roll bar, a front pin hitch, a hinged engine cover, headlights, hooded taillights, and Porsche-Diesel badging.

Beige-painted steel wheels were refinished under current ownership and wear 6.00-16 BKT front and 12.4/11-32 Alliance rear agricultural tires. Stopping power is from independent rear drum brakes.

The spring-suspended steel operator’s seat wears a red vinyl cover with yellow piping and Porsche-Diesel embroidery, while a jump seat is mounted on the left fender. Controls consist of a hand throttle, a transmission shifter, a power take-off lever, a handbrake, and brake pedals.

A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of an instrument panel that houses a VDO reverse-sweep proofmeter, warning lights, ignition and starter controls, and a headlight switch. The hour meter shows 3k hours of runtime, though total operating hours are unknown.
