1962 Porsche 109K Junior Tractor

This 1962 Porsche 109K was refurbished under prior ownership and subsequently used on a dairy farm in Belgium, prior to importation to the US by the selling dealer in 2018. The K model was the short-wheelbase variant of the Porsche tractor line, and this example is powered by a 14 horsepower, 822cc air-cooled diesel backed by a 3-speed dual-range epicyclic transmission. It also features a rear portal axle, front and rear PTO outputs, and a drawbar. In preparation for delivery to the new owner, the seller will perform an oil change and check the other fluids. This Porsche Junior tractor is now offered on a bill of sale in Georgia.

K models feature a wheelbase between 10-13″ shorter than the more common L model. This example was repainted under prior ownership, and the seller notes some marks and other signs of use, including a dent at the lower leading edge of the hood. The tractor was reportedly built near the end of production, and as such has model designation decals rather than metal badges.

Equipment includes front and rear PTO outputs, and a drawbar is affixed to mounts on the rear portal axle housing. Taillights feature amber indicators, and a pair of sealed-beam headlights is mounted up front.

The dash includes ignition, headlight, and hazard light switches, as well as a glow plug indicator and hand throttle. The operator is provided with a molded steel seat on a sprung base, and the shifter, split rear wheel brake pedal, and other controls are shown in the gallery.

The 822cc air-cooled diesel engine was factory-rated at 14 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels via a dual-range 3-speed epicyclic transmission. Welded repairs are visible on the muffler, and the seller notes the tractor will be serviced with an oil change and fluid checks prior to delivery to the new owner.

The data plate shows the various rated weights and capacities for the tractor, as well as engine size. The serial number is depicted on the data plate and stamped into the engine case. A video of the tractor running is viewable below.
