1962 Lamborghini 1R Tractor

This 1962 Lamborghini 1R tractor was acquired by the seller in 2022 and subsequently refurbished. The tractor has been refinished in blue and orange, and power comes from an air-cooled 1,462cc diesel twin linked to a three-speed dual-range manual transmission and a rear portal axle. Additional equipment includes a sickle bar, headlights, taillights, rear half fenders, a hydraulically lifted hitch assembly, and dual rear power take-offs. This Lamborghini tractor is offered in Turin, Italy, with a bill of sale.

Lamborghini Trattori was founded in 1948, and the 1R model was produced during the 1960s. This example was refinished in orange and blue under current ownership. Details include headlights, taillights, rear half fenders, a hinged engine cover, Lamborghini badging, and 1R decals on the engine cover.

The orange-finished steel wheels are accented by blue hubs and mounted with 4.00–15″ front and 9.5–24″ rear Speedways tires. Stopping power is provided by rear drum brakes.

The steel operator’s seat is suspended on a coil spring and features the Lamborghini script stamped across the back. Controls include a hand throttle, a two-speed range selector, a shifter, a power take-off selector, a clutch pedal, and independent brake pedals for the rear wheels.

The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a painted dash panel that houses an ignition switch, an oil pressure gauge, and a Lamborghini Cento reverse-sweep tachometer. The hour meter shows less than one hour of runtime, and total operating hours are unknown.

The 1,462cc air-cooled diesel twin was factory rated at 26 horsepower and is equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed dual-range transmission and a portal axle. The tractor is equipped with dual rear power take-off shafts as well as a hydraulically lifted hitch assembly. A sickle–bar mower with a wooden pitman arm is mounted on the right side of the tractor and is powered by a mid-mounted PTO.
