1961 Porsche-Diesel Junior 108 Tractor

This 1961 Porsche-Diesel Junior 108 tractor is said to have spent time on a farm in Germany before being purchased by the seller in 2018. It was subsequently refurbished beginning in 2022 and later brought to the US in 2024. The tractor is finished in red with a matching steel seat and beige wheels, and power is from an air-cooled 822cc diesel single paired with a dual-range three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes headlights, taillights, a hinged engine cover, dual power take-offs, front and rear pin hitches, and a fender-mounted jump seat. This Junior 108 tractor is offered in Florida with a bill of sale.

Porsche-Diesel Junior tractors were produced in short- and long-wheelbase variants between 1957 and 1961. The body and chassis of this short-wheelbase example were refinished in red under current ownership. The tractor is equipped with a 109-style air cleaner, hood, and grille panels, and other features include headlights, forward running lights, hooded taillights, and rear half-fenders.

Beige-painted steel wheels are accented by red hubs and are mounted with 5.00-16″ Granit front and 9.5-24″ Ascenso rear tires. Stopping power is from independent rear drum brakes.

The spring-suspended operator’s seat displays the Porsche Diesel script in beige across the back and wears a padded red vinyl cover with yellow piping and a tractor graphic. A jump seat with a cushion is mounted on the left fender, and controls consist of a throttle, a shifter, a transmission range selector, and brake pedals.

The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of an instrument panel that houses a headlight switch, ignition and starter controls, a temperature gauge, and warning lights. The tractor is not equipped with an hour meter, therefore total operating hours are unknown.

The air-cooled 822cc diesel single was factory rated at 14 horsepower and is paired with a three-speed dual-range manual transmission that delivers six forward speeds and two in reverse. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a portal axle.

The tractor is equipped with front and rear pin hitches, rear and mid-mounted power take-off shafts, and a draw bar with ball hitches.
