This 1961 Porsche-Diesel Junior 108 tractor is said to have been refurbished under previous ownership and is finished in red with a matching steel seat and beige wheels. Power is from an air-cooled 822cc diesel single paired with a dual-range three-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes headlights, taillights, a roll bar, dual power take-offs, a drawbar, a hydraulically lifted hitch assembly, and a fender-mounted jump seat. This Porsche-Diesel Junior tractor was acquired by the current owner on BaT in September 2020 and is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment in Warrenville, Illinois, with a bill of sale.

Porsche-Diesel Junior tractors were manufactured between 1952 and 1963. The body and chassis of this example were reportedly refinished in red under prior ownership, while the roll bar is finished in beige. Features include aluminum front grilles, a rear-hinged hood, headlights, front running lights, taillights, a rear license plate bracket, and a fender-mounted jump seat.

Beige-painted wheels wear 4.50-16 Continental tires up front and 8-24 Agrar tires out back. Stopping power is from independent rear drum brakes.

The spring-suspended operator’s seat is finished in red and wears a padded cover embroidered with the Porsche-Diesel script. A jump seat cushion is mounted on the left fender, and controls include a throttle, a shifter, a transmission range selector, and brake pedals.

The three-spoke steering wheel is fitted with a Porsche crest center cap and sits ahead of an instrument panel that houses an engine temperature gauge, ignition and starter controls, a headlight switch, and warning lights. The tractor is not equipped with an hour meter, therefore total operating hours are unknown.

The air-cooled 822cc diesel single was factory-rated at 14 horsepower and is paired with a three-speed dual-range manual transmission that delivers six forward speeds and two in reverse. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a portal axle. The selling dealer states that the battery was replaced and an oil change was performed under current ownership.

The tractor is equipped with rear and mid-mounted power take-off shafts, a draw bar, and a hydraulically lifted hitch assembly.

The chassis tag shows the model and chassis numbers.

Manufacturer’s literature will accompany the tractor along with previous German registration documents.
