1960 Porsche-Diesel Standard Star 219 Tractor

This 1960 Porsche-Diesel Standard Star is a diesel-powered tractor which was refurbished in the US under prior ownership. The tractor has been repainted in Porsche red with white script over cream-colored wheels, and is equipped with an upholstered sprung seat, a rear-facing parade platform, and dual PTO outputs. Power is provided by a 1,644cc two-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine paired with a dual-range four-speed manual gearbox. The seller acquired the tractor earlier this year and states a service has been performed. This Porsche-Diesel is offered by the selling dealer with a parts list, a reproduction brochure, and a Georgia bill of sale.

The tractor has been repainted in Porsche red with painted Porsche-Diesel and Standard Star script on the forward bodywork. The headlight housings and horn have been chromed, and diamond-plate extensions have been added to the factory front fenders.

The 28″ rear and 16″ front wheels are secured with chromed lug nuts and are fitted with newer Samson tires. The tractor is equipped with a splined rear PTO output and a forward-mounted PTO belt drive.

The operator is provided with a padded and sprung seat with white vinyl upholstery and red piping. Parade platforms have been added to the rear of the tractor, including guard rails, a standing platform, and a wooden seat. Controls include actuator levers for the PTO outputs and individual rear wheel brakes.

A combination speedometer/tachometer with an integrated hour meter is the sole gauge. A glow-plug indicator with polished cover is located on the dash. 5,252 hours are shown, approximately 5 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 1,644cc two-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine sends power to the rear wheels via a dual-range 4-speed manual gearbox and rigidly mounted rear portal axle.

The data tags and a lubrication guide tag are pictured above, and denote the chassis number and specified oils.

Included in sale and shown in the gallery are a parts list for the Standard T Model 217 and a copy of a factory brochure in German.
