This 1956 Jewel is a 15′ single-axle travel trailer that spent time in Idaho before being purchased in 2019 by the seller who relocated it to Texas. The trailer is finished in beige with a green stripe, and the floor plan features a bed and a kitchenette as well as a dinette with beige vinyl seating. Amenities include porch and window awnings, wood paneling, vinyl flooring, LED lighting, a sink, a range, and storage cabinets. Work under current ownership involved replacing front plywood substructure panels, repairing the front window guard, and installing a locking handle on the entry door. This Jewel travel trailer is now offered at no reserve in Texas with stabilizer jacks, entry stairs, a decorative tongue fence, a spare globe, and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.
The aluminum exterior is finished in beige with a green stripe. The entry door has a window and a diamond-pattern exterior panel while the inner door features screen panels and a wood frame. Removable Pink Flamingo porch and window awnings were added in 2020, and additional details include an equipment compartment, 120-volt power outlets, and front and rear window guards. The front window guard has been repaired with a plexiglass panel. Dings are present in the body panels, and the weather sealant around the lower-front seams has deteriorated.
White-finished 14″ steel wheels are mounted with a mixed set of 205/75 tires. The trailer measures approximately 15′ long and is equipped with dual tongue-mounted propane tanks as well as connections for fresh water and shore power.
The interior is outfitted with woodgrain vinyl flooring, varnished wood paneling, hinged windows with curtains, a ceiling vent, and 12-volt LED lighting. The dinette features bench seating trimmed in beige vinyl, a laminate tabletop, a propane-fueled lamp, and windows on three sides.
The kitchenette has a laminate countertop, a three-burner propane range, an exhaust fan, and an icebox in addition to a porcelain sink, a slide-out work surface, overhead cabinets, and under-counter drawers. The adjacent sleeping area features a mattress and three windows while a double-door wardrobe and a compartment under the bed provide additional storage. The seller notes that rust is present inside the icebox.
An aftermarket axle was fitted under prior ownership, and the seller recommends repacking the wheel bearings. Corrosion is visible on the underside.
A decorative tongue fence will accompany the trailer along with fabricated entry stairs, a spare globe for the interior propane lamp, and stabilizer jacks with footings.
