This 1956 Ford 860 tractor is said to have been sold new in Michigan and underwent a refurbishment that was completed in 2018 before it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022. The tractor is finished in red and gray, and power comes from a 172ci inline-four paired with a five-speed unsynchronized manual transmission. Features include a live rear power take-off, headlights, a taillight, and a rear spotlight. This Ford 860 is now offered at no reserve in Livonia, Michigan, on a bill of sale.
The tractor features a grille, engine cover, and fenders that were repainted gray with red Ford script during the 2018 refurbishment. The frame, drivetrain, suspension, and wheel hubs were refinished in red at that time. Equipment includes a live rear power take-off, accessory attachment points, a rear spotlight, a taillight, and headlights.
The six-bolt front and eight-bolt rear wheels are finished in gray and are mounted with 6.50-16 Akuret Harrow Track-3 front tires and 13.6–28 Firestone Field & Road rubber out back. Stopping power is provided by independently operated rear drums.
The spring-mounted seat is finished in black. Controls consist of a hand throttle behind the steering wheel, a clutch by the left foot, and twin pedals for the independent brakes on the right. The shift lever sits next to the starter pedal atop the transmission case.
A proofmeter is mounted above gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, and amperage. The hour meter is said to have been reset during the refurbishment and shows 10.5 hours of runtime. Total runtime is unknown.
The 172ci inline-four was factory rated at 40 horsepower. Fresh fluids were reportedly added under previous ownership in 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed unsynchronized manual transmission.
