This 1956 Dalton travel trailer is a 14′ model with a single axle and 15″ wheels. The trailer was first delivered in California on June 22, 1956, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2014. A subsequent refurbishment involved replacing the aluminum skin, wiring, and plumbing as well as refreshing the interior and repainting the body red and white. The floor plan features a bed, a kitchenette, and a dinette with bench seating. Amenities include an icebox, a sink, a range, and a ceiling vent, and additional equipment consists of a 10-gallon freshwater tank, a five-gallon propane tank, and a tongue jack. This Dalton travel trailer is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner with four stabilizing jacks, a hammock-style bunk, an awning, a ground cloth, and a clean Colorado title in the owner’s name.

The aluminum body was reskinned and repainted red and white in 2016, and the entry door and windows were refurbished at that time. Exterior details include seven windows, aluminum rain deflectors, a storage compartment, a folding entry step, side marker lights, and taillights. Shore utility connections consist of a freshwater inlet, a freshwater tank filler, and a 110-volt power input jack. A five-gallon propane tank is mounted on the tongue, and a residential-style 110-volt power outlet is located on the camp side of the trailer. The seller notes that scratches and a ding are visible on the body panels.

Red 15″ steel wheels wear chrome caps and are wrapped in 205/75 Goodyear trailer tires. A spare tire and wheel accompany the trailer and are pictured in the gallery below. The brakes do not work, and the seller states that the trailer weighs approximately 1,680 lbs.

The interior was refreshed under current ownership, and work involved refurbishing the appliances, refinishing the cabinets, reupholstering the seats, installing insulation, and replacing the flooring, countertops, wood paneling, freshwater tank, plumbing, propane fittings, wiring, and screen door. The kitchenette is outfitted with a Princess gas range, a ceiling vent, a porcelain sink, a retractable work surface, a 110-volt power outlet, and an icebox.

The sleeping area features a mattress, a wall sconce, under-bed storage, and overhead supports for a hammock-style bunk that accompanies the trailer. The windows are equipped with curtains, and overhead cabinets are fitted throughout the interior.
