This 1955 Ford 860 was acquired by the current owner in 1975 and was refurbished in 2010. Work included splitting the frame and replacing the clutch, radiator, starter, alternator, exhaust, fuel-sending unit, gauges, and grille shell in addition to repainting the body and drivetrain in red and beige. The tractor is powered by a 172ci inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a remote power take-off, a Ferguson three-point hitch, headlights, a black-finished steel seat, and a toolbox. This Ford 860 is now offered on behalf of the owner in California at no reserve with a bill of sale.

The Ford 860 was a variant of the Ford 800 series and was produced from 1954 to 1957. The engine cover and rear half fenders of this example were refinished in beige, while the engine, chassis, and running gear were refinished in red during the refurbishment in 2010. Features include headlights and a replacement red-finished grille shell with 800 badging. Damage and corrosion on the rear fenders are shown close-up in the photo and video galleries.

Beige-finished steel wheels are mounted with 6.00-16″ Firestone tires in the front, and 13.6-28″ Goodyear tires in the rear. Stopping power is provided by differential mechanical expanding shoe brakes. The front tires show signs of cracking.
