1954 Allgaier A133 Porsche-Diesel Tractor

This 1954 Allgaier A133 Porsche-Diesel tractor was refurbished in Denmark and then spent time in the United Kingdom before it was acquired by the current owner in 2020 and relocated to the US. The tractor is finished in orange with red wheels and is powered by an air-cooled 2,467cc three-cylinder diesel paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes headlights, taillights, front and rear power take-off shafts, a front pin hitch, and a rear three-point hitch. This A133 tractor is offered on dealer consignment in Loomis, California with a Porsche Club of Great Britain Authentication of Age Certificate, service records, refurbishment logs, manufacturer’s literature, and a bill of sale.

The Allgaier A133 Porsche-Diesel tractor was designed in collaboration with Porsche and was introduced in 1953. The body and running gear are finished in orange, and features consist of headlights, taillights, a rear work light, a hinged engine cover with Allgaier and Porsche System badges, a UK license plate, and rear half-fenders. Touch-ups were applied to the paint in 2020, and the seller notes scratches in the finish.

Red-painted steel wheels wear 6.50-16″ Continental tires up front and 12.4-32 BKT TR-135 tires out back, and braking is handled by rear drums.

The operator’s station features an orange steel seat with three drain holes, and an inward-facing bench is mounted on the left fender. Controls consist of a throttle, a clutch, a shifter, PTO levers, and brake pedals.

The black four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a headlight switch, ignition and starter controls, a temperature gauge, and a tachometer. Work in 2020 involved repainting the steering wheel and wrapping the wiring harness in protective tape. No hour meter is fitted, and total operating hours are unknown.

The air-cooled 2,467cc three-cylinder diesel engine is equipped with Bosch fuel injection, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a portal axle. The clutch was reportedly replaced under prior ownership, and service in 2020 included replacing the hydraulic pump o-rings and the batteries.

The tractor is equipped with front and rear power take-off shafts, front and rear pin hitches, and a hydraulically lifted three-point hitch.

Manufacturer’s literature accompanies the tractor along with handwritten Danish-language refurbishment logs, service records, and memorabilia.
