This 1953 Ford NAA Golden Jubilee tractor was purchased by the seller in 2007 and was subsequently repainted in gray with a red chassis and running gear. The tractor is powered by a 134ci gasoline inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and features include a Dearborn front bumper, a three-point hitch, a drawbar, and a rear power take-off. Service under current ownership reportedly included changing the oil and replacing the battery, radiator, and ignition components. This NAA is now offered at no reserve in Illinois with a removed radiator, removed parts, an owner’s manual, and a bill of sale.
The Ford NAA Golden Jubilee model was introduced for the 1953 model year to commemorate the marque’s 50th anniversary. The engine cover and fenders of this example were repainted in gray under current ownership. The chassis, drivetrain, and wheel hubs were repainted in red. Equipment includes a Diamond Jubilee badge, a Dearborn front bumper, and rear half fenders. The headlights do not work, and a video in the gallery below shows the tractor driving.
Gray-painted wheels wear a mixed set of 5.5-16 front tires and 12.4-28 rear Goodyear tires. Cracks are visible in the tire sidewalls. The tractor is equipped with rear drum brakes as well as a live hydraulic system that allows for simultaneous use of the rear power take-off and other accessories. Additional equipment includes a hydraulically lifted three-point hitch assembly with a drawbar.
The spring-mounted seat is finished in black. Controls include a hand throttle, twin pedals for the individual rear brakes, and levers for the PTO and hydraulic system.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a reverse-sweep tachometer and gauges for engine temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The hour meter shows 34 hours of runtime, though total operating hours are unknown.
The 134ci Red Tiger overhead-valve inline-four is equipped with a single carburetor. Service under current ownership reportedly included changing the oil and replacing the radiator, battery, rotor, distributor, distributor cap, ignition wires, and spark plugs. The seller notes corrosion on the exhaust.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Additional photos of the running gear can be viewed in the gallery below.
