This 1951 Allis-Chalmers G is powered by a 62ci inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission and is finished in orange. The tractor was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023 and refurbished under a previous ownership. Equipment includes a cultivator attachment with six feet, a rear hitch, a centrally-mounted work light, a brake light, a 2/3 steering wheel, and a hand crank. This Allis-Chalmers G is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve in Illinois with a bill of sale.
The Allis-Chalmers G was produced from 1948 to 1955 for farm and garden work. This example was been refinished in orange under a previous ownership and features a hand crank, rear half fenders, a brake light, and Allis-Chalmers decals.
The orange-finished steel wheels are mounted with 4.00-12″ BFGoodrich Silvertown Multi-Ring front tires and rear agricultural tires, all of which were reportedly replaced during the refurbishment. Stopping power is provided by rear mechanical external expanding brakes.
The operator’s station is equipped with a steel seat and a 2/3 steering wheel. Controls include a shifter and hand throttle mounted under the seat, a clutch pedal on the left, and dual pedals for the individual rear brakes on the right.
The rear-mounted 62ci L-Head inline-four sends power to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission. A volt meter gauge is mounted on the right side of the engine, and an oil pressure gauge is mounted on the left side. The battery was replaced in preparation for sale.
