This 1947 Cockshutt 30 tractor was refurbished under prior ownership and purchased by the seller in 2024. The tractor is finished in red with yellow wheels, and power is from a gasoline-fueled 153ci inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes headlights, a rear work light, a silver-finished exhaust stack, side and rear power take-offs, and a pin hitch. This Cockshutt 30 is now offered at no reserve in Missouri with a bill of sale.

No Reserve: 1947 Cockshutt 30 Tractor

With styling by architect Charles Brooks, the Cockshutt 30 was the first production tractor manufactured in Canada and it pioneered the “live power take-off” design that allows the PTO to operate at full power without the drive wheels engaged. This example is said to have been refinished in red under prior ownership and has a yellow-painted grille, a contoured engine cover, a silver exhaust stack, headlights, a rear work light, rear half fenders, and Cockshutt graphics. Chips in the paint are visible on the grille, and the seller notes scratches on the front axle and drawbar.

Yellow-finished steel wheels are accented by red hubs and mounted with 5.50-16″ Samson front and 11.2-38″ Titan Hi-Power Lug rear tires. Braking is handled by band-style independent rear drums, and the tractor is equipped with a wide-track front axle.

No Reserve: 1947 Cockshutt 30 Tractor

The operator’s station houses a steel seat that wears a beige and pink cushion cover. Controls include a hand throttle, a clutch pedal, a shifter, and dual levers for the individual rear brakes.

No Reserve: 1947 Cockshutt 30 Tractor

The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of an instrument panel that houses gauges for oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. The tractor is not equipped with an hour meter, therefore total runtime is unknown.

No Reserve: 1947 Cockshutt 30 Tractor

The gasoline-fueled Buda 153ci inline-four sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.

No Reserve: 1947 Cockshutt 30 Tractor

The tractor is equipped with a drawbar, a pin hitch, and power take-off shafts mounted at the rear and on the right side.
