This 1945 Allis-Chalmers WC tractor was refurbished under prior ownership and purchased by the seller in 2023. The tractor is finished in orange with matching wheels, and power is from a gasoline-fueled 201ci inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a silver exhaust stack, headlights, rear half fenders, a side-mounted belt pulley, a pin hitch, and a rear power take-off. This Model WC is now offered at no reserve in Wisconsin with a bill of sale.
The Allis-Chalmers WC tractor was introduced in 1933, and designer Brooks Stevens oversaw styling updates that debuted in 1938. This “styled” example is said to have been refinished in orange under prior ownership and has streamlined sheet metal compared to pre-1938 models. Details include a mesh grille, a silver exhaust stack, headlights, rear half fenders, and Allis-Chalmers graphics.
The steel wheels are painted orange up front, while the rear wheels have silver rims with orange centers. They are mounted with 5.50-16″ Super Hi-Rib front and 12.4-28″ Armstrong Hi-Traction Lug rear tires. Braking is handled by independent rear drums, and the tractor is equipped with a narrow–track front axle. The seller notes leaks in the front axle assembly and rear hubs.
The operator’s station features a steel seat suspended on a flat spring. Controls include a hand throttle, a transmission output shaft disconnect lever, a foot pedal for the engine clutch, a shifter, and dual levers for the individual rear brakes.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-color instrument panel that houses an ammeter, and a coolant temperature gauge is recessed within the engine cover. The tractor is not equipped with an hour meter, therefore total runtime is unknown.
