1969 Airstream International Land Yacht Overlander

This 1969 Airstream International Land Yacht Overlander is a tandem-axle travel trailer that was purchased by the seller in 2021. The floor plan features a front lounge area with a sofa, a galley, a central bedroom with a built-in dresser, and a rear bathroom. Equipment includes a front window guard, gear compartments, an air conditioner, a demand-service water heater, and a refrigerator. Work under current ownership is said to have involved repairing the air conditioner and replacing the tires, sofa, refrigerator, toilet, bathroom flooring, and a roof vent. This Airstream Overlander is now offered at no reserve in New Mexico with a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The trailer measures approximately 27’ long and features an aluminum body, a tinted front window guard, an entry door with a separate screen panel, and hinged windows. Other details include an extended rear bumper with integrated storage, gear compartments, marker lights, and utility connections for water and electrical service. One of the translucent roof vents was replaced under current ownership, and scratches and dents are visible on the body panels.

Black-finished 15″ steel wheels wear 225/75 Contender tires that were reportedly mounted in 2021, and stopping power is from electrically activated drum brakes. The seller notes the hitch coupler is aged and worn.

The interior is outfitted with white walls, curtains, woodgrain flooring, and overhead lighting. A replacement sofa with cushions trimmed in southwest-style cloth is located in the forward lounge along with overhead cabinets, reading lights, and panoramic front windows. The console above the sofa is inoperative.

The kitchenette is equipped with a laminate countertop and woodgrain cabinets as well as a double-basin sink, a demand-service water heater, and a three-burner propane cooktop. An Anukis electric refrigerator is located across the walkway. The operating status of the oven is unknown, and the freshwater pump does not work. The seller notes that the cabinet latches are in need of repair and that the wall-mounted lighting fixtures are in need of replacement.

The central bedroom is furnished with a twin bed, a ceiling vent, overhead cabinets, residential-style power outlets, and a built-in sideboard. The bathroom is located aft and is equipped with a combination tub and shower with a tethered sprayer, a toilet, and a sink along with a wardrobe and a toiletries cabinet. Vinyl flooring and a replacement toilet were installed in the bathroom in 2022. The Dometic house air conditioner was repaired in 2023, and the seller notes that it shows signs of age. The operating condition of the furnace is unknown.
