This 1960 Porsche Junior Tractor was purchased by the seller from a farm in Belgium and imported to the US in 2017. This 108L was the smallest Porsche tractor model offered at the time and features an air-cooled, single-cylinder diesel engine along with a dual-range, 3-speed manual transmission. This example is finished in the red with yellow-painted steel wheels and is now being offered in Cleveland, Georgia on a bill of sale.
Porsche-Diesel manufactured Junior tractors from 1952 to 1963, and all were equipped with single-cylinder diesels. The 108 model features hinges at the rear of the hood along with small aluminum front grilles. Multi-cylinder, non-Junior models were also available from Porsche-Diesel.
“Porsche-Diesel” and “Junior” badging can be seen on each side of the cowling, and most of the structural surfaces and body panels are finished in red. The seller notes a broken taillight, and also that rudimentary touch-ups have been performed by past owners with a brush.
The tractor features both an ignition button and a key.
The tractor is equipped with a 822cc air-cooled diesel single, which had a 14 horsepower rating new. A 3-speed, dual-range manual transmission is equipped, and an oil service was performed two months ago.
The Porsche Diesel Junior production plate is pictured above, and a video of the tractor running can be seen below.
