This 1960 Porsche Junior tractor was refurbished in Holland in 2017 and was imported by the selling dealer in 2018. The refurbishment included a repaint in the original red and fitment of new tires to the 15″ and 24″ steel wheels. The single-cylinder 822cc air-cooled diesel engine reportedly received a top-end rebuild, and power is sent to the rear wheels via a dual-range epicyclic 3-speed transmission. The tractor is equipped with dual PTO outputs and an implement mount. This Junior is offered by the selling dealer with importation documents and a Georgia bill of sale.
The tractor was repainted in the Netherlands, and close-up photos of the finish on the bodywork, frame, and suspension components are provided in the gallery. The tractor is equipped with headlights, taillights, and an additional set of running lights on the leading edge of the rear fenders.
The steel wheels have a cream-colored finish and measure 24″ in diameter at the rear and 15″ at the front. New Alliance Farm Pro 324 tractor tires are fitted. Equipment includes dual PTO outputs and a height-adjustable equipment mounting bar fitted between the rear wheels.
The driver is provided with a padded and sprung steel seat which carries the Porsche Diesel name across the rear panel. Instrumentation is limited to a temperature gauge, and the instrument panel also houses the light switch and a glow plug indicator. The tractor is not equipped with an hour gauge, and the seller estimates that it has about five hours of run time since their acquisition.
The air-cooled 822cc single-cylinder diesel is paired with a dual-range 3-speed epicyclic transmission built by ZF. The seller reports that the top-end has been rebuilt, and the tractor retains a factory-style exhaust and muffler assembly.
The data plate is intact, and notes the model as 102 and the build year as 1958. A video showing start-up, operation, and a walk-around with the tractor in motion is viewable below.
