This 1953 McCormick Farmall Super A was refurbished circa 2010 and stored in a private collection before being acquired by the seller in 2024. The tractor is powered by a 113ci inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in red. Equipment includes an offset driving position, headlights, wraparound horizontal grille bars, rear half fenders, a gray exhaust stack, and a rear receiver hitch. This Super A tractor is now offered in California at no reserve with a bill of sale.
The Farmall Super A was produced from 1947 to 1954 as a modified version of the Farmall A. This example has been refinished in red with a gray exhaust stack and McCormick Farmall graphics. Equipment includes headlights, wraparound horizontal grille bars, and rear half fenders.
The red and gray-finished steel wheels are mounted with 9.5-24″ Delta Sure Cleat tires in the front and 5.00-15″ BFGoodrich Power Steel tires in the rear. The tractor features an adjustable-width front axle as well as adjustable and reversible center dish rear wheels.
The “Cultivision” offset operator’s station features a steel seat with a black cover along with brake pedals, a clutch pedal, a shifter, and a hand-controlled throttle.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits to the right of an ammeter as well as starter controls and a keyed ignition. An oil pressure gauge is mounted to the right side of the engine. The tractor is not equipped with an hour meter.
The gasoline-powered 113ci inline-four sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The seller notes that the fluids were changed and the battery replaced under current ownership.
The tractor is equipped with a rear receiver hitch.
